I’ve started using Mederma 2 weeks ago, it’s too early to see final results as it may take upto 3 or 6 months for it to remove the scars. So far my skin has been peeling and I can see some difference. I’m hoping the difference is much noticeable few months from now.

Good price and fast delivery.

However, on the box and the tube, where

expiration ought to be was left blank.

Made me a little uneasy if the product is legitimate

or has expired. Don’t think I will order it again.

The ones you get from stores always have the

expiration date clearly marked.

This product doesn’t actually work. It didn’t work for me anywhere I used it, and it didn’t work in a scientific study that tested rabbit ear scars (which someone previously noted): “Histologic analysis demonstrated no significant reduction in scar hypertrophy or scar elevation index…No significant difference in dermal vascularity or inflammation was noted…no significant reduction in scar erythema with Mederma treatment” (Saulis A.S. et al. “Effect of Mederma on hypertrophic scarring in the rabbit ear model).

For the people who claim that this product worked for them, I think your skin either healed on its own, you’re a Mederma employee, or it’s all in your imagination. The only thing that might have had some effect was that you kept the area moisturized while it healed. Even old scars, over the course of weeks or months (which is the amount of time the Mederma tube claims it will take to see improvement, something like 6-8 weeks), will change somewhat. The Mederma has nothing to do with it. There’s no better way to honor the lives of the poor rabbits who died in the study than not buying the product that proved completely ineffective. Please don’t buy Mederma.

Don’t use this product. It is a rip off. I did research after I used it and in studies it showed no improvement of the scar area. When I used it on my facial scar it itched a little bit. I left it on thinking thats normal since the itching was slight, and now my scar is worse than ever. It burned the hell out of my skin. Don’t trust this product and don’t waste your money. I am considering a class action lawsuit since there have been tons of reports of problems with this product. You shouldn’t sell a product that doesn’t work and has a chance of making the scar worse.
